AC Question
Running 4.4.2 on a Huawei mediapad t1 7.0. I have root access.
I have to mention that my phone also runs android 4.4.2 and I have none of the following problems with this..... I can remove and replace any app I want from my screen.
On the Huawei mediapad however:
- Some apps I can remove by tapping and holding them, then drag them to the trashcan on the top of the screen. No problem.
- Other apps I can drag to the trashcan but they immediately reappear after I do this.
- doing this with "system apps" (and they use that term pretty liberal) just produces the message "this is a system app and can not be removed" on top of the screen. No "x" on the bottom of the screen, no other options, nothing. I don't even want to delete them from the device, I just want to clean my screen from unused clutter.
For instance, this device comes with a totally useless "MUSIC" app installed as a system app and it even is flagged as a "key module" in my root uninstaller. When I try to delete it, it simply fails to do so...
Basically this device forces me to have all system apps - half of them useless bloatware - on my screen somewhere.
unless I'm overseeing something of course. Can someone give some advice, this is driving me up the walls.
