Why can I not order things online?

An example is that I was on Amazon and I tried to order something that had a color and I have to select the color but I couldn't. When I press on the color nothing happened. This is driving me crazy. I don't know if it's a pop up thing or and won a good day because I really know nothing about computers or phones or anything like that. Please help me!
