Cant change my home screen on acer liquidz320

I have changed my home screen to what appears to be a single screen with a fixed image. shortcuts and widgets can be added or removed. It seems to be a preset theme of sorts and will not allow me to change wall paper or go back to default settings. I cannot reset in privacy there is no setting to do that. Any ideas?
