How to fix the “Offline Check your connection” error when trying to use Google Voice

Welcome to Android Central! Which device? Is it otherwise connected to the web successfully (i.e, if you use the browser or any other app)? Does this happen on both wi-fi and mobile data?

I am having the same issue since Wednesday. Using a Droid X. I can use chrome fine. It can sometimes recognize music titles, but if I ask for directions or any question it errors. I also not that since about that time when I search in chrome it asks me which account to use, I have multiple accounts for work and personal. It never did that before.
