no command error

hello friends, I am having a micromax a106 handset whose pattern i forget. so i thought of ressting it. I went to recovery mode by pressing and hoding power+volume up+volume down. There I got the data wipe/factory reset option. But when I select it with power button, nothing happens and a green android logo with no command display on the screen only. I am trying this since 2-3 days but in veins. can somebody help me here. please
