Every time I try to watch a video on Youtube it starts playing for a few seconds then begins buffering. To make it stop buffering I either have to mess with the point in the video or disconnect then reconnect my wifi. It's a weird, annoying issue and it happens on both of my android devices. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Could it be issues with your WiFi speed? Have you tried running any speed tests? This is the app I use for that purpose....

(this is op) Thank you but unfortunately the wifi isn't the issue. I took the test and on my old iphone the videos worked fine.

Ok what device are you using? Have you tried restarting it? Does it do the same thing when connected via cellular?

Buffering means that the app is playing the video (at normal speed) faster than it's coming from the server. If another phone does work, the chances are that your phone isn't buffering, but has another problem. But we can't diagnose it without having the phone, so you'll have to read a lot, and figure out how to diagnose it.
