My parents have a nice laptop and an ipad, but really all they need is something to go on the internet, check email, etc. and not much else. They like the surface 2 (non pro I have, in concept, but prefer a true keyboard.

With Black Friday coming up, what is a solid chromebook that won't break the bank but has really good specs?

I want to keep the cost down a bit because when you get in the $600.00 range, then I think laptops come into play.

Hi, did you settle on any Chromebooks for the folks? I've only ever had one, the Toshiba 2 Chromebook - loved it, and now my folks have it
