Why has my Samsung tablet suddenly stopped sending emails

Why has my Samsung tablet suddenly stopped sending emails, I can receive them, would it have anything to do with a recent iPhone update I receive a message server not available what does this mean

Hi, why do you think an Iphone update would impact the Samsung Tablet - when you send an email, does it save in the outbox or does it appear in the sent folder?
