Galaxy S7 stuck in safe mode

After the latest update, my phone went into safe mode and hasn't come out since. Restarting doesn't fix it.

Same problem. Can't find a solution yet.

Solved the problem for me. I had to take the phone out of its third party external case and reboot it. It seems that the case was (maybe) putting pressure on the power switch during the reboot and keeping it in safe mode. Found a similar problem reported on older Galaxy Note 2s.
