call forwarding not available

i have an lg g3 from at&t. i am unable to activate call forwarding...this option or feature is not available to access or turn on and off... is this due to the company, the manufacture or the phone model its self... i had a kyocera last week that worked flawless with call forwarding

That's usually a network function, call your network provider and they will set it up for you...
