GF's phone has "damaging viruses "

[AC Question]

Three times now a random screen comes up while my GF's on Google of FB or any legitimate website and it says her phone has 4 viruses from an adult site but she's never been to any shady sites and so the A.V it says to download doesn't have good reviews, so what gives here?
