What version of Android is the ATT version of Galaxy S6 supposed to be on?

Just looking at my wife's phone and noticed that it's still on 5.1.1. It's and ATT version of the GS6. Seems like it should be on at least 6? I checked for updates but it says there are none.

Is she not getting them because we are on Cricket?

The weird thing (for me) about American handsets is that it needs to have the SIM of the carrier in it to receive updates. Otherwise it won't get them. So you may want to check that route.

I don't believe I have the old sims anymore. Anyway around this?

Get any ATT sim.
