Lg4 battery wont charge

The charge went to 15% and when I plugged it in to the charger the screen went dead. I removed the battery and put it back in. The phone tried to start but went dead. It's like there is not enough charge to turn the phone on as well as it will not charge.

15% isn't enough charge. Aside from that, you should never allow the battery to drop below 40%. (It's the price we pay for batteries made of the lightest metal there is - you don't really want to carry 5 pounds of lead-acid battery with you, do you?) Plug the charger in and leave things alone at least overnight. The battery probably needs replacing, but 8 hours of charging should put some charge back into it.
