AC Question

I'm not sure if it is a bug or just a missing feature, but there is currently no way to submit SMS messages in Google Messenger while using a Bluetooth keyboard. This is occurring on a clean install of Android 6.0. This happens with all Bluetooth keyboards I have tested and the enter key of Google Keyboard works fine so I know it isn't the client or phone.

Am I missing something or is this something you can reproduce on your end?

Thank you for your help.

Every other application I've used submits a message by pressing enter on the keyboard. Google Messenger is the exception so I'm trying to figure out why.

There should be an icon you can tap for "send". "Enter" could be cr/lf, cr or lf - it depends on which OS the keyboard is supposed to be emulating. (MacOS, Linux and Windows use different codes for "enter".)
