Nexus 5 memory issue

Today i've bought a second hand nexus 5 32gb. Before buying the seller sent me the imei code so i check the phone status and everything was fine (32 gb storage)... until i got home and i notice the storage was only 16gb. What cold have happened? Coult it be an android issue or i just got cheated?

Not much you can do but contact the seller. If the phone was advertised as 32gb, then that's what you should have gotten. If you used ebay, or paypal you should have buyers protection. On swappa, if you paid with paypal, the same applies.
