Magnification Gesture affecting my (rapid) typing

I have a gripe with the Magnification Gesture on my Galaxy 6 Edge running Android 6. While it is useful sometimes, I hate the triple tap option because while typing I always want to use multiple emojis or letters and it turns the triple tap on and off, on and off. My question is this: is there a way to still zoom in at all while having triple tap disabled? Is that possible? Thank you!
