AC Question

So after a few too many dc's from the game I'm playing, I monitored the active clients on my router's menu. Turns out it's my phone uploading data and taking up all the bandwidth. What could be causing this?

Welcome to Android Central! Is this all the time, or just for a defined period of time? Could it have been Google Photos backing up photos in the background? Or Samsung Cloud sync? Can you tell how much data is being uploaded?

Good day, it's me who asked the question. Had to register to be able to reply. I've already disabled the google photos sync. I'll look into the samsung cloud sync. Wasn't even aware there's such a thing. I cannot tell how much is being uploaded since I can't really monitor it since it began uploading. Only notice it when my connection suddenly dies out whether gaming or just browsing. What other software should I look into that's uploading in the background. My sync is off in the drop down menu.

Just an update. I don't think it's samsung cloud sync as when I clicked on it, it's still giving me it's start-up(?) screen meaning I haven't even configured and used it.

You could also go to the Settings>Data Usage menu, which should give you information on how much data apps are using.
