Gmail address auto fills on a new email but does not show in Contact List.

[AC Question]

If I type in the first letters of a know email address it auto fills the full Gmail address. But the address is not found in my contact list. I found several contacts like this.
Where are they "hiding?"

Welcome to Android Central! Gmail actually remembers every email address you've ever entered into the Recipient line. These don't show up in your main My Contacts list in Google Contacts, but if you go to Google Contacts on your desktop browser (contacts.google.com), click on More, then Other Contacts, you'll see them there.
