Not able to download the images in my linux laptop after sw upgrade

Earlier I use to get the options to choose PTP, MTP Picture/Media Transfer protocol. But with the latest upgrade from Verizon. I don't see those options . The device only goes to to the charging mode.

I even tried going to developer options and change the USB configuration but no help.

Does anyone has seen this issue or know a way to download the pictures from Internal Storage to linux machine.

Have you tried using a different USB cable? Or a different USB port on your PC? Also, if you're connecting your mobile device to your PC through a USB hub, is it a powered (separate, external power supply) or an un-powered hub (only getting power supplied by the USB port its plugged into)?

But in the meantime it would help to know which Linux distro and version are your running on your PC, and which mobile device do you have and what version of Android is it running?
