Hello, so I recently recieved a 2nd hand Samsung J3 / J320FN today and for some reason my sim isn't being recognised.

I'm on the carphone warehouse network iD which is tied to the 3 network, which is what my phone is locked too. The 3 network. It just displays "Emergency calls only."

I read that if yoiu change your network preference to manual then select an operator that isn't the sims (such as EE, Vodafone, O2 etc.) then change it back it will work.

When I try to change the network preference I get an error saying "Unable to connect." I then read to type innto the phone dialer "*#*#4346#*" and when I try this it says "Network not registered." I looked this up and it said to change the network preference. It's like a never-ending loop.

    Can someone please help?

    Thank you

Welcome to the forum. You need to contact the carrier you're trying to connect to an have them help. It sounds like either the SIM or your phone is not compatible with what you are trying to do.
