How is the Tab S2's battery

Hi,
My partner has an old tab 2 10.1 inch tablet which is coming to the end of its life. I was looking to buy the tab s2 9.7 inch but I noticed the battery capacity is less then the tab 2 10.1 inch and have also read others saying the battery doesn't last very long.
Being that technology has moved on since the tab 2 10.1 inch days, do you think she would notice any difference in how long the battery lasts?

I did look at the tab s3 but the price is just too much for me.

Any thoughts please?

Not sure how it compares to the old Tab, but newer tablets are more energy efficient which is why they have smaller batteries. It's much thinner and lighter than the old tabs.

Mine is at 38% right now, off the charger for 1 day 3 hours and just shy of 4 hours screen on time. I use it mostly for browsing.
