Changing default home screen

Hi!
In the past, I was able to simply hold the O button twice and change the homescreen.
With the new update, I'm unable to choose a default home screen and by default the most left panel will remain the homescreen.
How can I work around it?

I'm using LG G5. I don't know what is a stock launcher

The launcher controls the homescreen, app drawer, etc. -- it's essentially the homescreen user interface. Stock means the one that the phone came with (which, in LG's case, is called LG UX).

Does this method work for you?

This was used for the old GUI of LG G5 version, but now after the update it doesn't work anymore, since everything is changed .

How about this method for the G6?
