Sim card not from Verizon on note 5

I have the note 5 and the SIM card is preinstalled but here lately my phone is saying "Sim card not from verizon" how do I fix this

Welcome to Android Central! You got this Note5 directly from Verizon, and they installed the SIM card for you? Have you asked Verizon about this? See if you can try a replacement SIM.

I second that sentiment. Unless you have reason to avoid Verizon because of the uncertain status of the phone I would go to the nearest store and have them replace the sim.
