Why does my Galaxy S8 dial 0 when connecting to Ford Sync?

My Samsung Galaxy S8+ dials 0 every time it connects to my Ford/Lincoln Sync system. How do I get it to stop?

I have exactly the same problem with my 2017 Ford Edge Sport with Sync 3 and iPhone 7

I've posted a query on the Ford Owners Sync forum and had no reply.

Since they're all Fords, see if the Ford dealer's service department has updates for the Sync system.

I have the same problem. Galaxy S8 connecting to 2017 Ford Fusion. Started with the last android update. Each time the phone connects to the car the phone dial 0.

I found a fix.

After your phone connects to the car, leave your car running and turn off Bluetooth on your phone, so your phone will disconnect from the car. Then turn Bluetooth back on to reconnect your phone to the car. This should fix the problem, it worked for me. My phone no longer dials 0 when it connects to my car.
