Touch buttons not working/resetting

[AC Question]

I just bought a brand new LG Phoenix 3 from AT&T and everything is fine except the inky touch button at the bottom of the screen that lights up and works is the back button. Home button and the one that lets you quit pages are there but muted looking. When I go into the combination setting and move them around, they work for a little until I close my phone, turn it back on and they're back to not being lit up or responsive. I've looked everywhere for a solution within the phone and online. If no one has an answer, to AT&T I'll go but hopefully someone knows! Thanks for reading.
