why my battery percentage it's not increasing ?

i have a nexus 6p and when i plug in my phone to charge it, the sign of the battery lights but when i click to see if it is charging, it shows that it's not charnging and the battery doesn't increase. I tried a lot of different things like to change the cable or the charger but again the same thing. Do you have any idea what's happening?
