When my partner texts me I don't get an audible notification that I've received a message and nor does the screen light up. The only thing that happens is that the little blue LED above the screen starts to flash to show me I've got a notification. It only seems to happen to her, anyone else that texts me it all works perfectly fine. I've checked the SMS settings in the Settings. I've checked her notifications button is on in the SMS window. I've checked her notification ring tones are all set to a notification, but nothing is wrong or turned off.

    Any ideas?

Bring up your contact in text messaging. Tap on the three lines in upper right hand corner to bring up a menu screen. At the very bottom there is a notification icon (bell). If there is a line through it, tap on it. It should turn to a solid color. Mine is orange. Try it now. It should work.
