How to use Galaxy S8 flashlight whilst recording videos?

Hi everyone.

Yesterday I needed the flashlight whilst I was recording a video but couldn't work out how to do it. I know how to turn on the light and tried but it said that the camera was using the light, even though I was filming.

If any oc you can assist me with this I'd be very grateful.

I own the S7 but it's probably the same way to enable it. When you open your camera app, before you begin to record a video, you should have some options on the left side of your screen. Make sure flash is turned on, then when you begin to record a video it turns on automatically when you press record and shuts off when you quit filming.

Just an idea off the top of my head, but can the quick toggle menu be accessed while recording?

Good question. What do you mean by the 'quick toggle menu'? Sorry I'm a newbie.
