unable to verify account information while adding an account in EMAIL

While trying to add accounts on eMail app on my new Samsung S7 phone I encounter the following problem:
- first "checking incoming server message" appears
- then "unable to verify account information"

Other information:
1. Apart of the new S7 phone I also have an older Samsung tablet S2.
2. I have 3 email accounts. (gmail, seznam and bluewin).
3. All three accounts work on the S2, but only two work on the S7. One (bluewin.ch) gives the above problem.
4. I restarted the S7 - it does not help.
5. All server settings (ports, SSL, ...) for the bluewin account are the same on the S2 (where it works) and on the S7 (where it does not work).
6. Manual setup fails as well.
