Why will a I phone charger base charge my galaxy on 5 but when I plug it into a samsung base it does

Im using a iPhone base it takes longer to charge but I have a samsung travel adapter model #EP-TA20JWE. Is their a fuse inside the charger

Samsung uses a wire in the charger to indicate to the phone that it's connected to a plugged-in charger. Apple doesn't. So in the iPhone charger, the phone is charging as ig it was plugged into a computer's USB port - 450mA.

iPhones don't support rapid charge, the Note 5 does. The Note will charge faster on a rapid charge capable charger, which the iPhone wall plug doesn't support.
