Why does my chrome app for android not sync with desktop?

[AC Question]

I am currently trying to set up chrome on my NVIDIA Shield tablet. Running Android 7.0

I am set to sync my chrome from my desktop. Currently syncs fine with my Mac Mini.

I have tried suggestions from other threads, including uncheck sync from chrome then force quit, Log out then log back in, uninstall all updates and log out and log back in, chrome settings and managed sync data then reset sync, clear app data and log out then log back in and Factory reset multiple times,

Nothing seems to help. Any other suggestions would be wonderful.

Thanks for answering. I have left it to sit for days since the last sync data reset and login
