Why won't my s4 read my Sim card

I'm not able to recieve or make phone calls as well as texts an its saying there is not Sim card

Have you spoken to your carrier about it?

It could be a defective SIM card or your account provisioning got messed up - in which case, do as Belodion suggested. Or it could be a bad SIM card port, in which case you'll have to have the port replaced. (The reader itself is less than $5, but the labor will be more.)

Just try factory reset your phone
