Android Central Question

I own Idol 4 with latest sw available do download officially. While doing nothing, my battery drains rather fast (down to 20% within less then half day). By looking at what is causing the drain, battery monitoring app says 68% is drained by mobile data download, out of which 99% is for "system data" whatever that means. Today, it indicated over 1 GB was downloaded and 100MB sent by the system. However, that can not be true since both my android data monitor and my mobile carrier both show approx.same amount spent, which is way less up to date for the month compared by data reported by the app itself (and if it were somehow true, my mobile bill would be dramatically increased, which it isn't).

I'd say it is measuring app that is wrong, however battery drain is not fake and is consistent with reported data download.

What could be causing this?

I can attach screenshots that show this if needed

Thank you in advance.
