Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Twitter App no working

[Android Central Question]

My Twitter app on my Galaxy Note 11.1 2014 is not working. I get an error saying "Cannot retrieve tweets at this time. try later."
The app seems to be a built in app because all I can do is force stop or disable it,
I have cleared cache, etc.
I have removed account and re added my account.
I have tried everything . I cannot get it to work.
Can anyone advise what to do?

I have been having the same problem for the last few days. I was starting to wonder if I was the only one having this issue. I don't know if the latest Note8 Security is causing the issue.

I'm having the exact problem. I'm using a new Note 8 & Twitter was running fine until a new software update last night. Now it needs me to log in like I've never logged in before every single time I open Twitter. After logging in a error at the bottom of the screen says "Cannot retrieve Tweets at this time. Please try again later" (See attached). Thanks a lot for any help & for supporting a awesome community designed to help one another!

I found a fix to the twitter app issue.

Followed the steps & haven't had a problem in 24hrs.

I followed those steps exact
Or I should say I tried to follow them
I did delete app data
Then from the Twitter app I tried to go into settings where I can rename profile
When I click settings I get this
Which is the exact error I get no matter what I try to press
Even scrolling down & then back up makes the error pop up

I've just updated the Twitter app through the galaxy apps app and it is now working again!
