Android 4.3.2- applications (Youtube, Hangouts, ...) hang up after update

Dear all,
recently after update of several applications - Youtube, Hangouts, Maps, ... all of them started misbehaving.
After opening either of them I get error message: "unfortunately...has stopped". I also see quite often an error message"Unfortunately Google Play Services has stopped".

I tried a couple of quick recipes that recommended cleaning data and cache of abovementioned applications. However, it did not help.
I am quite afraid of updating the operating system and gapps, because I tried quite few of newer versions (android 5 and 6), but the problem was still present.

Try next a Cache Partition wipe. Tell us what that does.

It looks like nothing has changed.
By the way, i am having 300 MB free space in the internal FLASH storage.

A lack of free storage can cause some problems also. Is there any way you can free some up?

Actually I can try to plug in an external micro SD card, however I don't know if it helps.
Freeing up the storage space can be problematic, since all of the software updates were downloaded into internal flash memory.
