Only camera record videos can send

I have a few videos from a screen recorder and that I downloaded, but when I open an app like Instagram or YouTube, I only can post videos that were recorded with a camera. I already tried putting the screen recorded videos in the gallery but that didn't work.Do I have to enable something in the settings or something else?

Welcome to Android Central! Where exactly did you try to move the screen recording files to -- i.e., which directory? "Gallery" is an app, not a location -- it displays all images and videos in any directory, as long as there isn't a .nomedia file in that directory.

Use a file manager app to move or copy the recording file to the /DCIM/Camera directory, and then see if it shows up when you want to post it.

Also, what video format does the screen recorder use?
