Auto replace not working

[Android Central Question]

Hi,

Since the update to 7.0 the auto replace in text/whatsapp is not working.

Under language and input it's switched on but for example i is not automatically changed to I and typos are not automatically changed as it before.

The predictive text is shown along the top but I'm having to tap each word I'm wanting rather than doing it automatically.

I have a s6 edge and it had got used to my lazy style of typing and I miss it!!

Any advice to get this auto replace back?
