Why wont my sd card work?

Okay, so I needed things off an old phone. So I took everything that was on my 64 GB SD card and put it on my phone storage. I put it in the old phone and it said I had to format it. So beings all info is saved in my phone I formated it. Well I couldn't get anything on it from old phone. So I put SD card back in my phone I use, and now it won't show up at all. When I insert it, it doesn't show up in storage that I even have an SD card inserted. What do I do?! Please help!

Sounds like the card is damaged and/or corrupted. You might have luck getting it re-formatted in a computer (and running the chkdsk program to see if it can repair damaged sectors) but even if you can, I wouldn't keep using that SD card unless it's only to move things you already have backed up elsewhere.
