sensitivity to low

On my ZTE ZMAX Pro my phone screen is really sensitive. every time I try scrolling up or down the slightest touch can open an app or an ad or something I don't want to do and it gets annoying quite easily. it stops for a few minutes after I restart my phone. Is there a way to fix this completely?

You haven't accidentally turned glove mode on?
