How do I copy files from one file to another on the same sd card?

I have around half of my music files on a File named Music. The rest of my music is stored on the n7 music player. They are both on the same sd card. My player does not read the other files on the card named Music. How can I move files from one location to another location on the same sd card?
And is there a way to force all the music I download to go to the music player and not the Music file

Welcome to Android Central! Which device do you have, and which version of Android is it running? Music players should be able to see music files stored anywhere on the device, as long as there isn't a file called ".nomedia" in the directory (or in any of the parent directories). Use a file manager app to look in the problem directory to see if a .nomedia file is present.
