Android Central Question

I have tried holding down and dragging them and deleting them in the settings amd nothing works. Also there is a bunch of plus signs where the apps should be and they are just annoying does anybody know how to change this?

If they came in the phone when you got it, they may be installed as system apps, which you can't uninstall (unless the phone is rooted). If you drag the widget to the trash (or long-press it, then tap delete or remove, whichever shows up - and whether you have a trash can or a "delete/remove" choice depends on what launcher you're using), you're still left with the little marks on the desktop showing where you can place icons. They're not plus signs left by the widgets.
