Samsung S6 - Switching apps to background

Hi,

I have a Samsung Galaxy S6 and when I open some apps it stays open for a while (5 to 30 seconds... it varies) and then it returns to the main app screen and the opened app is still running in the background (but isn't closed/crashed).

Any ideas?

Does this persist in Safe Mode?
It may also be worth wiping the Cache Partition and also your cached app data in Settings, Storage.
Tell us if still no go.

Is this happening by itself? Or when you tap the Home button? (The Home button doesn't close apps.)
