Android Central Question

I have been trying to read through the feed here, but still don't have solution. My daughter is eating through over 30GB (Yes Gigs) of data per month with this 'Removed Apps' item... What is it, and how on earth do I stop it?? Please help. She has a J5 - and I am an iphone user, so a little lost here... and really need to be guided through this process, preferably without restoring the phone to factory settings. Thanks

"Removed apps" can't use data, she has to (or you have to) find out which app is using the data - and restrict it. (Or just turn mobile data off for a while, and hope that some app complains about not being able to get an internet connection.) If she's, say, connected to Facebook all day, even if she never posts a word, she could eat 30GB in a few days. But it's some app that's not removed that's doing it. (Maybe some app has been removed, and some app she's using is trying to download that removed app because it needs it.) If there's a notification in the notification pulldown (she can show you what that is), long-press it to see which app sent it.
