My Gmail App "Has Stopped Working" for three days. Could there be something wrong?

I have a Motorola Moto G phone for quite a while now, but I never experience my Gmail app "has stopped working" before. It has been going constant for three days and I did the process of clearing cache and uninstall and reinstall the app itself many times. Yes, it's back to normal, but after a few minutes, it still says, "Unfortunately, Gmail has stopped," especially when I'm trying to send in an email, going through emails, and scrolling through emails. I can't be sure if there's a major problem I may never know of, but I thought that once the app got its update yesterday it'll stay back to normal. Now it's still don't function properly.
 
Try Settings/Apps. Go to GMail. Remove updates. See if that helps. (If not, you can run play and tap the Update button (to the left of the Install or run button).

Have you received any other updates recently? Like system updates, security updates, etc?
 
I did have an update on the 14th this month. I thought it's going to fix it, instead, the app still have "Gmail has stopped" error. My phone did have a system update and the error still occurred.
