It's a Samsung galaxy amp prime and keeps saying invalid SIM card?

[Android Central Question]

Changed carrier from cricket to h2o, and it saying invalid SIM card but it's not because had it on a Samsung s7 before and working fine. Asked cricket told me it was supposed to be an cellphone unblocking code they provide but keeps saying that it needs a puk number to supposedly unlock the SIM, but put it on other phone it was recognized but it's not mine.

Cricket can supply the PUK code for your SIM...

Is the Amp Prime used? Maybe the previous owner locked out the SIM tray. If so, take it back to them for a refund.
