Samsung experience version 9.0 not allowing a personal dictionary?

[Android Central Question]

I upgraded my Samsung Galaxy S8+ today, and now it appears that my personal dictionary is gone, and using the Samsung Keyboard doesn't allow profanity, even the word "suck" is not allowed while sliding to spell words. Swear words are populated if I spell them letter by letter. Does anyone know how I can undo this restriction? I don't need Google or Samsung or whomever to police my language.
