Info model version under about phone not the same as IMEI Checker model version.

[Android Central Question]

I just bought a second hand phone and it was advertised as a LG-H918 T-Mobile Version. When you turn it on the T-Mobile splash screen appears and it has all the software for it. Also in the about phone under hardware info it calls it an LG-H918 T-Mobile Version. But on every single ESN/IMEI checker known to the online universe that i put the imei number into,it calls it a LG-H910 AT&T Version. This has me worried something fishy is going on. Any help is much appreciated.

Welcome to Android Central! It may be that the person who sold it flashed a T-Mobile ROM onto an AT&T variant. if it works well, then there's probably nothing to worry about -- but flashing a different variant's ROM onto a phone can sometimes cause various bugs, some of them subtle, so keep an eye out for any unusual behavior.
