How can I get my Droid Maxx2 to stop disconnecting from WIFI?

Am running Android 7.1.1 on my Droid Maxx2. Whenever I try to connect to our home WIFI, the phone connects momentarily then disconnects. I can only use the data connection to see the Internet and have used up my data allowance. All other devices on the home WIFI are functioning fine. I have turned off Bluetooth on my phone and have rebooted the phone.

Welcome to Android Central! Try rebooting the router by unplugging its power for about 30 seconds. It's still possible for one device to have issues on a router, while all others are working fine.
