I have a Nexus 5 marshmallow. I am looking for a video player that has zoom and shift features like the Apple Iphone standard.

I have downloaded numerous players and some have zoom without shift and only one with shift as well (VXG StremLand) which takes a few clicks to get to be able to zoom and shift.

Does anyone know of any other video players with easily accesible zoom and shift features?

Thank you for the suggestion.
I couldn't reply before because this thred didn't have REPLY button or a prely window. But now that it does I am able to reply.
I tried MX Player and Zooms and Pans fine but very slow to launch. It only zooms to 300%.

I found another player called "Video Player All Format - Full HD Video" in the Google play store that zooms to 800%, but I am unable to figure out how to pan.
Maybe someone could help explaining how to pan on this app, if at all possible?

There are at least 8 apps called Video Player All Format, and not one of them that I looked at mentions zoom. Specify the developer, at least, so we can find it.

I noticed that the first section of the name (Video Player All Format) is fairly generic, but thought that the additional section of the name in Google Play store would make it more unique.
Obviously not - It is offered by InShort Inc and the developer email is cameras.ideas@gmail.com. It is the "Offered by" that is shown underneath the name in Google Play Store.

Hope this narrows it down to the app.

It looks like no one knows the particular "Video Player All Format" player app.

I found another player with a very good zoom range. Unfortunately, I can't work out how to pan on this app either. I can't believe that a developer would design a zoom feature without panning ability, because what's the point of zooming if you can't move the viewing window to the part of the image being interested it in.

This other app is "PlayerX Video Player" offered by Missuteam at missu.team@gmail.com. Could someone who who knows this app let me know how to pan a zoomed image?

I suggest you'll have to start contacting developers. Either the MX Player team and see if they can increase the zoom amount, or one of the others to to add a pan function. Yes, you'd think panning would be kind of a no brainer feature if zooming, but it seems to be absent in most players.

It is quite disappointing. A little while ago I used someone else's iPhone 6s (I think 6s) to view a video. The standard video player on the iPhone had a smooth reasonable zooming range with pan. I am just trying to emulate that on my Nexus 5 Marshmallow.

The best video player for zooming, I have found so far is the "Picturen lite" by SilenceCork at silencecork@silencecork.com but appears to have no pan.
All I need is auto rotate, quick launch by tapping a video file in Total Commander and of course a good range of zoom and pan.

Where I am stuck is a good zooming range with pan. MX Player zooms by a small range and pans but is too slow launching. Unfortunately Picturen Lite might have to do, even though it also has a small zoom range but launches fast, unless someone can come up with a better option.
