Why do pictures and video texts show on the wrong person's messages?

Every time my mom sends me a photo, video, bitmoji, etc, it shows up on my friend's messages instead as if they sent it. I've tried resetting my phone but it still doesn't work. Please help.

Welcome to Android Central! Which phone? Are you using the stock Messaging app, or another one like Facebook Messenger? Have you asked your carrier about this?
